When they are available you will be able to buy reunion t-shirts from Halcyone  at the reunion.

You will want to consider making arrangements to buy roaming cellphone/mobile talk, text and date minutes before you arrive in Grenada. This is important because some mobile carriers will charge you a lot for roaming, unexpectedly, after the fact.

If you are staying longer than the week, you may consider (if not already the case) having your cellphone/mobile unlocked and buying a local SIM card in Grenada.

Large group gatherings have been impacted by the COVID pandemic, so as we plan the reunion we want to make sure we consider the safety of our oldest and youngest family members, the most vulnerable population. In the interest of the safety of young and old, we ask that those attending the reunion take COVID precautions seriously

To lower the COVID-19 risk at the reunion, we ask all reunion attendees to comply with current public health directives, including local Grenadian ones [link to these].

Please note that we cannot confirm the vaccination status of reunion attendees, whether and when they have had COVID-19 or otherwise guarantee safety.

For events that occur indoors, we urge caution. You may want to mask unless actively eating/drinking or with those from your immediate household. Surgical masks will be on hand at reunion events.

Antigen testing is a step you may want to take to ensure everyone’s safety at the reunion. Unfortunately, we cannot provide rapid antigen tests. They are available for free or at low cost in many of the countries where Bullen family members live.

If you, your children or older folks are especially vulnerable, then you will have to make appropriate decisions about masking, proximity to others, amount of time spent at indoor events and whether or not you will attend at all.

We encourage you to make choices that are right for you. If you need to cancel or change your reunion registration as a result, please let us know.

We encourage you to patronize Grenada’s shops, vendors, and restaurants. Your purchases help support the local people and economy.

It is important for you and yours to register for the reunion because it helps the planning team plan a wonderful reunion for us all.

Your registration ensures we can determine how much food, drink and seating to have. It also allows us to pay the vendors working on the reunion promptly. Without your financial support there could be no reunion.

Moreover, registering allows us to communicate important details to you in advance.

Further, during the reunion week, the information you’ve provided should help speed check-in at the events. Overall, it should ensure a well-organized and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Yes, children are most welcome at the reunion. Keep in mind that the Dinner-Dance is a night time event, the Island Tour is several hours long and that the Beach Party’s shoreside location will mean that you will need to be careful with little ones going into the water. Parents/guardians are advised to be responsible for their children at all times, at all of the reunion events.

The dress code varies for each event. Dress for the Island Tour, Beach Party and Sunday Brunch is casual. The Dinner-Dance will be dressy-semi-formal.

Dogs and cats are also allowed at the outdoor events, but you must keep dogs LEASHED AT ALL TIMES. Your pets are welcome as long as they are well behaved and friendly, and you keep them tethered at all times (no running free). Thanks for your understanding.

We have roots in Barbados and before that largely to West Africa with some Indigenous and European ancestry. Our story is wrapped up with colonialism and the history of the “New World,” slavery, the sugar economy, petroleum, the Great Powers, the Panama Canal, the Harlem Renaissance and the World Wars. We live and have lived in Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Cuba, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, Canada, the UK, other parts of Europe and the Caribbean as well as Africa and Asia.

Of those in the US and Canada there are large clusters of us in New York, the DC-Maryland area, Florida, California, Texas; Toronto and Montreal. In the UK, the family is strong in and around London.
